Dr Annie McKirdy
PA and Surgical Assistant
Annie qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Glasgow in 2013.
She has extensive experience assisting in all types of hip and knee surgery as well as in looking after patients with complex medical problems.
She helps run the ICE Ortho clinic whilst pursuing her part-time Masters degree in Health Care and Design at Imperial College, London.
Dr Martin Watson
Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist
MBBS FRCS FRCR
Dr Martin Watson qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1987.
After Surgical and Orthopaedic posts in Scotland and Australia he returned to London for Radiology training at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
He has been a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the West Middlesex University Hospital since 2000. He has wide experience of all areas of Musculoskeletal Imaging but has a particular interest in sports injuries and image guided interventional procedures.
His main research interests lie in the diagnosis and treatment of tendon disorders and cost analysis of Diagnostic Imaging.
Dr Andrew Castello-Cortes
Andrew was born, educated and trained in England. He qualified from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London he says a long time ago!
He completed his junior training in Southend and Northampton hospitals, and senior training based around St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, where he completed a fellowship in Chronic Pain.
Andrew has been a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust since 2002.
"I still really enjoy my work, still learn new things and still care about it, which is a relief. I have a family, and still enjoy them, which is pleasantly surprising (teens…). I hope to be understood one day, so may yet get a dog."
Dr Mark Lambert
BA (hons), MBBS, FRCA, PG Cert Med Ed
Mark studied physiological sciences at Oxford University before completing his medical training in London at University College.
His training in anaesthetics has taken him to many London hospitals and in addition to general anaesthesia, he also completed fellowships in children’s anaesthesia and medical education.
Following his full accreditation as a consultant anaesthetist, Mark’s practice is based at University College London Hospital and the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. He also holds practicing privileges at several independent hospitals in London.
Mark’s spare time is spent enjoying his growing young family in West London and occasionally finds a moment to ride his bicycle around Richmond Park.
Dr Aynk Dharmarajah
MBBS Bsc FRCA DIC Med SE
Aynk is a fully accredited Consultant Anaesthetist, and has over 15 years anaesthetic experience.
He also holds an academic contract with Imperial College for his academic interest in surgical safety, education and training.
He will be able to provide you with his expertise and compassion for your operation, having had anaesthetic training in Orthopaedics and trauma at all major West London NHS Hospitals.
He provides anaesthetic services for Orthopaedics and trauma at BMI Hospitals, Hospital of St. John & St. Elizabeth, The Wellington Hospital, and is registered with all major insurance companies.
Dr Anna Joseph
Consultant Intensivist and Anaesthetist
BSc MSc MBChB FRCA FFICM
Anna is a consultant intensivist and anaesthetist at Kingston Hospital. She qualified in medicine from Warwick University following a degree in physiology in Cardiff University.
She holds a Masters degree in critical care and is a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.
Anna is a keen educator and teaches on advanced life support and trauma courses as well as being the clinical lead for sedation and intensive care audit at Kingston.
A black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Anna spends her spare time weightlifting and running very, very slowly.
